For me, with my ex mind you, we where in a relationship for 2 years, I tried my best to make it work, but she left me multiple times due to life but I still choose to help her as a friend I got back with her, choose her over other girls twice mind you. Met someone exactly how Tracy met Ted. An exact match of everything, and you just do not understand that feeling of having the one, until her. Too bad my ex ruined that relationship for me, that bond was strong, we communicated openly we had fun together, I was everything she looked for and more as well, but alas, I am hopeless romantic thinking I can win her back and all that, but honestly I dont know if I still want to do that.

The worst thing about the ending is that not only the storyline and character development were wasted, but in addition, it broke hearts of many of us who had been watching the series from the beginning and kinda were growing up by it, living our first relationships. After this heartbreaking end, I am simply not capable if watching it again with the same feeling. The whole awesome series seems somehow nihilistic and sad, brings melancholy

Rewatching the mother scenes, I looked back when I first watched this and thought to myself “Man, I really want to find love like this.” It’s roughly 10 years after, went through multiple heartbreaks, and what ifs, and I found it.
